SHW is lucky to have one such employee. Carol Riddle, who describes herself as a “Seasoned Account Director,” was honored by Visit Seattle this week for her passion for hospitality and Seattle. She was named to the 2020 Class of Tourism Ambassadors.

As a salesperson at SHW, Carol considers her job, first and foremost, to sell her hometown of Seattle. To do that, she pulls out of the stops. She knows everyone, everywhere. She believes Seattle is the best city in the country, and she’s not happy until clients tell her they want to move here. Her passion for the city and for her clients often creates blurred lines between work and personal life.

Those blurred lines are confusing to some people. For Carol, it’s natural. Passionate employees look at bumps in the road as an interesting problem to solve – a way to think creatively and maintain the path toward achieving goals.
