End of Year Recap from our Chapter President

This is my final month as President of the Pacific Northwest chapter and I have been reflecting on all the wonderful events the chapter has hosted this year and the many successes. I hope you were able to attend at least one event this year and had at least one takeaway. My hope is that you were able to apply this takeaway personally & professionally.

Our volunteers work hard to provide you with different opportunities to network, learn, and engage with our local community. If you were not able to attend an event this year, I hope you will consider attending one in the New Year.

I want to take a moment to thank this year’s volunteer board. They have done an amazing job! I cannot express enough how much our chapter depends on our volunteers. It is a very rewarding experience and a great opportunity to learn new skills and connect with individuals you may not have met otherwise.

If you are looking to do one new thing in 2019, I encourage you to consider volunteering with our local chapter. Get out of your comfort zone and try to strengthen a skill area that maybe is not in your current job description. We have lots of opportunities and are always looking for more support.

Thank you again for making this year a great year. I hope to see many of you at PCMA Convening Leaders in Pittsburgh!

Happy Holidays from my family to yours!
