Reinvent Your Event and Supercharge Your Attendee Engagement

Reinventing your event sounds scary and a huge undertaking. But, there are simply ways you can breathe new life into your event with little effort and no money. You also need to keep them engaged before, during and after the event – and in many different areas to keep the attention of your diverse audience. It’s time to take your event to the next level!

 This isn’t an overview … in this session you’ll walk away with easy, but fun ways you can immediately get your attendees and vendors engaged.

2.      Learn simply ways to get your vendors involved with additional sponsorships and socializing your event

3.      Find new and exciting new engagement techniques to reduce your costs and help create a memorable event

Judy Payne is the Director of Meetings & Travel at GameStop, the largest video game retailer in the world with a family of brands including pop culture collectibles, consumer electronics and wireless services, operating more than 6,900 stores in 14 countries.

With 17+ years in events, her responsibilities at GameStop include overseeing roughly 50 events annually as part of the strategic meeting management program, the US & Canadian annual Conferences & Expo, as well as managing the travel program and policies for a fortune 300 company.

While hosting roughly 12,000 multi-generational attendees, Judy’s objective is to excite, engage and empower her attendees. From gamification to socialization, the event is fun and exciting – on a shoestring budget.

Accolades include Awarded “Best Innovative Sponsorships” and nominated for “Best Interactive Exhibit” by Expo Magazine in 2013. Directions

  • From I-5 Southbound: Take ‘Exit 105 to State Capitol,’ keep left for Exit 105A, and continue for 0.6 miles. Merge with traffic on the left and continue in the left hand lane of 14th Ave SW through the roundabout (Jefferson St.) and under the tunnel 0.4 mi to Capitol Blvd. Continue across Capitol Blvd to the Capitol Building on Sid Snyder Ave SW (14th Ave becomes Sid Snyder Ave).
  • From I-5 Northbound: Take Exit 105 and bear left for the State Capitol/City Center exit. Cross over Interstate 5 and keep in the left lane on 14th Ave SE. through the roundabout (Jefferson St) and under the tunnel 0.4 mi to Capitol Blvd. Continue across Capitol Blvd to the Capitol Building on Sid Snyder Ave SW (14th Ave becomes Sid Snyder Ave).

 

Parking

  • Visitor parking cost $1.50 per hour weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but is free on evenings and weekends
  • Parking meters accept credit/debit card, $1 bills or coins (.05, .10, .25, .50, 1.00)
  • Attendees will want to park in stalls located at the North/South Diagonal which is located off of Capitol Way.
