Scholarships
Scholarships from the Pacific Northwest Chapter of PCMA are available for the following:
- 2025 PCMA Education Conference, June 1-4, 2025 (Louisville, KY)
- 2026 PCMA Annual Meeting, Convening Leaders: January 11-14, 2026 (Philadelphia, PA)
In order to beĀ eligibleĀ for an industry scholarship, applicants must meet the following prerequisites and agree to the following:
- Applicants must be an active member of the PNW Chapter and in good standing with a minimum of one continuous year of membership.
- Volunteer as a member of a committee or serve on the Board of Directions for one year following the scholarship
- For one (1) full year following scholarship receipt, maintain active membership in the Pacific Northwest Chapter of PCMA and attend three (3) chapter events within that year
- Convening Leaders or Education Conference Scholarships:Ā Write an article for the quarterly newsletter about how you took what you learned at the event and how you implemented it into your personal and professional life. The completed article is required at the time recipient sends in reimbursement form and receipts. Reimbursement approval process will be delayed until the article is submitted
Overview
We will grant scholarships using a time/monetary value system. Scholarship applicant may request up to $2,300 in a two year time frame. Time would begin towards the two-year time frame based on the initial date scholarship was requested.
Applicants may request funding based on their need ā scholarship money will be available for registration, airfare, and hotel for conferences. All scholarships awarded are to be used to reimburse actual expenses and reimbursement requests shall be submitted to the Chapter Treasurer and Chapter Administrator with accompanying documentation.
How to Apply
Scholarship Applications will be reviewed by the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors and their decision shall be final. Recipients will be notified in accordance with the following schedule:
